CAP: 4 -20cm in diameter.  The pinkish buff cap starts convex with a prominent umbo before becoming more concave with the umbo still slightly present. The margin remains inrolled at all times. STIPE: Robust with swollen base. Concolorous with cap becoming paler with age. GILLS/PORES: Gills are slightly spaced, concolorous with the cap and decurrent. FLESH: White to buff, fibrous. Faint smell of almonds. SPORES: White, sub-globose. HABITAT: Found usually in small groups at the edge or within deciduous woodland. SEASON: Frequent, late autumn. EDIBILITY: Inedible.
